Welcome to Children’s Ministry at Southside Nazarene.

We do all we can to include members of all ages in the life and learning that happens here at Southside. Our greatest hope is for kids not only to know about Jesus but who are living each moment following Jesus ~ in their families and friendships, and in their school and neighborhood.

We believe there are many ways we can guide children into following Jesus every day. Some might include:

  • Supporting parents as spiritual leaders in their own homes
  • Encouraging mentor relationships between children, youth, young adults and older adults
  • Including children actively and on purpose in times of community worship
  • Offering opportunities for learning and friendship with other children their own age and with caring teachers
  • Allowing children to explore their gifts by service in their church, school and community
