Updates on Nazarene Response to the Haiti Earthquake
The Church of the Nazarene has had a very active and effective mission work in Haiti for the past 60 years. Today we have about 500 churches and 116,000 members in this tiny island nation. It is natural that we should feel a deep connection to the plight of these dear brothers and sisters, and a heightened obligation to do all we can to help their nation rebuild after the devastating earthquake that has shattered so many lives.
On January 12, the very day the earthquake struck, General Superintendent J.K. Warrick flew into Port-au-Prince to begin conducting a series of 11 District Assemblies across the island nation. He lived through the earthquake, and afterwards released an open letter and video message to Nazarenes around the world.
Dr. Warrick also wrote follow-up reports on the situation, and you can find them here:

Here is an article entitled "A New Perspective on Haiti," by a Nazarene pastor from California who recently returned from a tour of the ravaged island nation.
